Good morning troops on this fine Saturday, all's well in So Cal. Got all we need and hunkering down at home. A few novels to read and a few PBS TV shows and lots of afternoon naps. Trips to the store to pick up supplies are sparse. Keeping the shopping list short but the lines at the stores aren't. Up just before 0600, cleaned up, read, exercised. Turned 81 this month, thanks for the birthday wishes. Weather been rainy & cool. All's well in So. Cal.  in spite of govenor Gruesome Newsome's order to stay at home. This too shall come to pass. Have a great day ! NOT AWOL !

A group of peacocks in Florida is being relocated after residents complained that the birds were being too aggressive and defecating on roads.  Incidentally, the peacocks had the same complaint about Florida residents.

63 yrs ago around March 7 joined the Army.  Going to the basic training barracks

very quietly you can just about hear Harry Belafonte singing DAYO.

Very drizzly dark night and knew we were going into the unknown.

I will say this about the Motown style.  They HAD style.  They were always dressed to the nines and they were always choreographed.

Happy St. Patty's Day.  Made my corned beef last week.  Still enjoying leftovers.

Harold, I never got into the ”Motown” scene.   I pretty much stayed with doowop, country and western and pop music.  Jo got me liking some opera and  classical stuff.  Oh, and the big bands.  Can’t forget them.
