Damn! I stayed up all night trying to see where the sun went.  Then this morning, it dawned on me.

a bunch of us "c" troupers arived in california the night before the trade center attack to attend one of our annual reunions which was hosted by sgt george marshall who was one of our d. i.s in boot camp and later became in charge of the gate guard in bindlach.the reunion was held in salinas ca.,the next day we were all down in the lobby watching the tubes in disbelief. three other members that day came down midway to ca. and were able to rent cars to reach the reunion. another member from texas  was ready to take off but taxied back to the terminal. another member from upstate ny had all intentions of making the reunion if their daughter gave birth to thier first grand child which was due about a week before their departure date. well she was late with the delivery and they had to cancel . their flight would have been the one that went down in pa.we had trouble getting a flight back to newerk but after three days we were able board a flight home. our seats were on the left side of the plane and during the landing phase the whole ny skyline was right out of our  window. a sight i'll never forget.

A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel, and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories. After about an hour, the manager came out of the office, and asked them to disperse.

“But why,” they asked, as they moved off.

“Because,” he said. “I can’t stand chess-nuts boasting in an open foyer.”

My neighbor just told me he's addicted to brake fluid,  but he can stop anytime.
