I'm back in half spirit, but we still have a long ways to go  To couplet recover. and the West Coast is still catching hell, my sister who lives in Sacramento has not seen blue skies due to the fires in a month. Dave I was wondering why do we have to change to a different set up? personally I'm quite happy the way it is. and.if it ain't broke leave it alone, is it safe to make my yearly donation?  Harold thanks for the DVD you guys did a great job putting it together. maybe you could place a copy on Dragoon base for everyone to see, and or a copy to the 2nd Cav. Association.  Dragoon for life -  Chief

Sorry I missed your Birthday Harry, Happy Healthy birthday and L'shanah Tova

Dave can't you have a fundraiser on the other sites

If you collected $1.00 pp you will have over your quota.

Each site person can send out the emails.  Harry did I hear you say that is a good idea.

That doesn't sound good.

That should almost cover my bar tab, Harry. Much appreciated!

I'm just worried we are going to lose the site altogether. Got a lot of history in these pages, and a lot of guys that aren't with us anymore. Be a terrible shame to lose all trace of them.

Dave, no problemo.  I mark it on the calendar so I don’t forget it.
Not getting a warm fuzzy with this NING bullshit.  Sorry you have to deal with them.  I’m putting you in for a raise.  20% work for you?

Comment by Dave Gettman on September 16, 2020 at 6:44pm

Dang it! Sorry I missed your birthday, Harry. Mea culpa.

The battle with NING continues. They tried to charge me double again and I raised hell. Thankfully the bank blocked it again.

I was supposed to get a 14 day preview of the new site and I finally got a peek just now after bitching about it. What a disaster!!! It looks like crap and every comment or message anyone ever posted is gone. It is just an empty shell. An IRS letter has more appeal. I told them hell no!

When you are over 70, who cares

I was standing at the bar one night minding my own business. This fat ugly chick came up behind me, grabbed my behind and said, “You're kinda cute. You gotta phone number?"

I said, "Yeah, you gotta pen?"

She said, "Yeah, I got a pen"

I said, "You better get back in it before the farmer misses you."

Cost me 6 stitches...but,

When you’re over seventy............who cares?

I went to the drug store and told the clerk "Give me 3 packets of condoms, please."

Lady Clerk: "Do you need a paper bag with that, sir?”;

I said "Nah... She's purty good lookin'....."

When you’re over seventy............who cares?

I was talking to a young woman in the VFW last night. She said, "If you lost a few pounds, had a shave and got your hair cut, you'd look all right.”

I said, “If I did that, I'd be talking to your friends over there instead of you.”

Cost me a fat lip, but…

When you’re over seventy............who cares?

I was telling a woman in the Club about my ability to guess what day a woman was born just by feeling her breasts.

"Really" she said, "Go on then.. try."

After about thirty seconds of fondling she began to lose patience and said,

"Come on, what day was I born?

I said, "Yesterday."

Cost me a kick in the nuts, but…

When you’re over seventy.............who cares?

I got caught taking a pee in the swimming pool today. The lifeguard shouted at me so loud, I nearly fell in.

When you’re over seventy............who cares?

I went my favorite bar last night and saw a BIG woman dancing on a table.

I said, "Good legs"

The woman giggled and said, "Do you really think so?"

I said, "Definitely! Most tables would have collapsed by now."

When you’re over seventy............who cares?

A woman has twins, and gives them up for adoption. One of them goes to a family in Egypt, and is named ‘Ahmal'. The other goes to a family in Spain; they named him ‘Juan'. Years later, Juan sends a picture of himself to his birth mother. Upon receiving the picture, she tells her husband that she wishes she also had a picture of Ahmal.

Her husband responds, “They’re twins! If you’ve seen Juan, you’ve seen Ahmal.”
