Thanks Sig. Glad things are going well in So Cal.
Nice and frosty here this morning and a bit of a frozen fog just as the sun was coming up. One of the few times it hasn't been raining in several days. I guess the drought is over and now we are getting a good soaking. Been unusually dry here the past few years but now we are getting a little river flooding and some landslides the past several weeks. A one-day break now and then before the next front moves in, but those clear days are always really cold, in the 20's and 30's. Other days in the low 40's with a rare 50. Been very blustery a lot too, and sometimes just downright windy as hell. But now it is partially cloudy with some early sun peaking over the hills.
Went to the VA yesterday and got the first covid shot. have to go back 1 month
Good morning troops, all's well in the lower desert of Southern California ( elev. 1500ft ) cool mid 30's mornings and 70's at noon, alive and well. Gottested for the covid thing this week, both the wife and I came in contact with some people who informed us the next day that they had tested positive. Were both feeling good and no symptoms, should get our results in a couple of days, just trying to play it safe. Did some fishing yesterday afternoon when my bride and I spent some time bird watching over at San Jacinto wildlife Area, saw 35 different species of birds, an enjoyable day topped of by a nice salad for dinner and some tv and cuddle time. Hope everyone is doing well !

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
