Figured it was about time I changed the song of the day. RIP LEON REDBONE.

My son Joshua works for the Tennessee Valley Authority. He has been in Savannah at the Pickwick Dam all week. I guess they have been having heavy flooding down there and are expecting more rain 4-6 inches. He said there was 2.2 million gal. per second going over the spill ways yesterday. He sent pictures, but I don't have them on this computer. Maybe you can look it up online. That's a beautiful area, been there several times, lots of history and things to see. Take care and congratulations on your retirement. I'm 70 and still working everyday. I told my wife when I die make the funeral short because I got to get to work :)

Shannon,I have a 2000 mercedes & a 06 Toyota sienna. Both together, cost me $250 a year to insure 300,000/100,0000 liability.registration is about $150 each.Gas here is currently 2.19 gal.I'm sure you"ll do better in TN no matter what.Granted moving isn't fun.they've been trying to turn NH into MA for years now & unfortunately are slowly succeeding.People leave there to get away from it all & then bring it with them.

Shannon, I sent Frank (the wandering Scotsman) “buttery caramel” coffee.  A fine and discerning gentleman he is.  He raved about it.  I still make it every morning.  When you get settled, give me your address.

Good morning Joseph thanks for the well wishes on the move. One week from today is my last day working in the trades, we bought the house in Tennessee and I should be heading out that way the first week in March with the first load. I am far from the richest guy around but I can relate to him wanting to leave a place that is always trying to squeeze more money out of you and Kalifornia is one of those place's. Here is one example my wife Linda bought herself a brand new Ford truck last year and this state wants $910.00 a year to register it my 2000 ford is still $350.00 a year, our new governor wants to overturn proposition 13 so they can raise our property taxes and they want to put a tax on our water and limit use to 50 gallons a day. It just never ends out here, Government intrusion is out of control here on the left coast.  I am five generations from California but it is not the same place I grew up in some of my friends ask me why I am leaving California and I tell them California left me a long time ago. It will be very difficult to stay out here on a fixed income,  California is one of the states that tax all retirement income. This place is a lost cause the only thing I will miss is the weather and a few friends. Stay well and hope to see you at the reunion.

Thank you kindly!

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
