Jim, That is a lot of water going over that spillway, the road going from Bath Springs where my Kids and grandkids live to Saltillo where our place is , is flooded right now there is a creek you to have to cross over and it is pretty high right now. I have had a few short outings in the area been to Pickwick lake and to Shilo battlefield but I am really looking forward to exploring the area and not having to worry about the time. Let me know when you are in the area again hopefully I will have met me a good white whisky maker by then and we can tell a few stories and take a few pulls of the jug. Stay well.

You are welcome, Harold. You can upload your own images to leave as a flower. I have my own little library of images on there to leave. So far I have left nearly 300 tributes to 2d Dragoons I have located on that site.

Dave, thanks for that website,  I did not know how to put the Crest in.

I put in a flower

I am glad my movie touched you.  That is what we are showing Memorial Day.

Harold, you can go on the Find A Grave website and see the entry for Sam. Go down to where it says "Leave a Flower" and you can leave him a virtual flower and note.

Harold, I watched the CD you sent me. I think you just like to make me cry. The poems inside the cover were real good too. Hopefully the following will reward you in some small way for all your effort...

...2d Cav Assoc wants to have a memorial at Ft. Benning honoring all the troopers who have died for any reason while serving as a 2d Dragoon from 1836 to present. Thanks to you, your buddy Sam will be included in the tally for the Cold War era.

Thanks Harry and Jim.

That's a pretty quick rise in the water level. Sure hope they get a break in the weather soon.

Shannon, you may want to postpone that move a few weeks.

Thanks Dave;

I hadn't seen that yet.

I just got a text from my Son. He said the spot that he was standing in yesterday for the interview was now under 2 1/2 feet of water when he stopped by this morning. Said the next week is going to be bad as water from the north comes barreling down the rivers.

This is the Son that was the Community Relations NCO for the Air Force Thunderbirds.
