Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.
I was added on 06 May, 1978 on page 56. I was added as the Commander, L Troop in Amberg. As an aside, when I visited the Reed Museum, where the Honorary Squadron Book is kept, I found it in serious disarray, with pages out of order and many incomplete. Very sad for such a prestigious honor from the Regiment. Hopefully Ryan Meyer can get this sorted out in the near future.

There are actually a few books for the Honorary Squadron, Bob, dating back to 1952.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
