I served as Company Clerk, K Troop, 3/2 from '68-'69. 1SGT Roger Folger and Cpt Leonard Holder with 1Lt Topper and Bishop. Spent a  lot of time developing pictures taken with a Pentex 35mm SRL and making music tapes on a reel to reel Akai recorder purchased at the PX.  Made some great friends in K Troop and HHQ, Personnel.  Keep in contact with Sgt Loren Krebs from L Troop.

I remember doing some trading with the British soldiers. unit crest's and patches stuff like that, they came over to our barracks a couple of times. Where you out at the range the day we had the BBQ ? if I remember correctly we had burgers and they were a big hit.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
