Dragoon Base

Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.

Time is running short, troopers. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The 2021 unveiling at Patton Park of the memorial to all 2d Dragoons who died serving the regiment is drawing near and we are still short of funds to complete the project.

As our proud regiment began its storied history in 1836, we are asking for a one-time donation of $18.36 to show your support for this honorable cause.

Checks can be sent directly to:

Frank Hurd

1626 Comanche Rd

Arnold, Maryland 21012

Please mark your check "MEMORIAL FUND"

Or you can use PayPal through the 2d Cavalry Association website. Go to https://www.2dcavalryassociation.com/donate/ and click on the link for the memorial fund.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
