I went back to the world in Feb 72. Don't really know what the criteria for this was, other than the obvious. I certainly didn't spend 31 months on the border. But I did do 2 tours with K Troop, and 1 with M Company. Can you imagine 17 tanks at Camp May in the winter?

I never Got one I was there from June 1972 to Apr 1974

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
