Hey John, same to you, years are adding up!  Yea, Mayer always looked strange since he was at least 2 feet taller than most of the tanker-types.  I think he actually stuck out of the hatch...  But then, so did you!  So where are you now?

Hey Mo,

     good to see you are still kicking.  The TC's name is Riffy.  During my first tour (74-76)  Riffy was the only hard stripe NCO in the platoon for a while.  Until June of 75 when I made Sergeant, some days I was the platoon sergeant as an acting jack E-5.  Mayer always looked strange in the driver's compartment.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
