Tell us a little about your cav days.
We were a Border Patrol unit stationed in the Tri-Zone Point, and worked out of Camp Gates and Camp Pittman. Also did patrols with the German Zoll, or Customs, and Ski Patrols with the BGS along both the East German, and Czech. borders.

Originally from Merritt Island Florida, transplanted to Upstate New York. Married with teenage kids,and operate a Nuisance Wildlife Removal Company in the local area.

8th Colonel of the Regiment Nelson B. Sweitzer 9 Jun 1886 – 29 Oct 1888



This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
