Happy Birthday Alex!  Are you sure you don't remember Fred Limone?  Medic/Dental guy around 83-84.

Guess I should have asked you for directions to the Nuremberg Harley Davidson. Took us hours to find it and burned up a lot of gas!

I forgot to mention that I'm back in Pennsylvania and living near Wellsboro. I live in the north central part of the state. If you look on a map, I'm south of Corning, New York. I live approximately less than 20 miles from the New York-Pennsylvania line.

Hi Alex,

Yes, I was shocked too. I couldn't believe it. Charles Moya sent me an email about his death. I'm doing fine. Still working in law enforcement but I hope to have only four more years of that and I'll retire. I will find something else to do then. I have to stay busy. I see you are still in Nurnberg. I want to take my wife there when we come back over. Kristen, my wife, loves Germany and definately wants to go back. I'm getting the desire to go to Europe soon anyway. Maybe a trip over the pond is coming in the next year or so.

Very happy to hear from you. I hope all is well with you and life is treating you well. I do miss the days of our youth! Definately, the summers at the pool and everyone sitting around talking and just having a fun day. Please stay in touch and I wish you all the best.

If you do Facebook, I'm there too with several of the other guys. You may not know them, however.

Best wishes to you! Dave

Hi Alex! I hope all is well with you. Thanks for responding back. I received some news from Germany recently. A friend of mine, who still lives in Amberg, noticed the other week that Jimmy Story died. Remember him? He dated Inge and then married her after he got out of the Army. He died 07.03.2011. It was in the Amberg newspaper on 19.03.2011. It was a shocker to me! I had a good time with both of them back in 2003 before I went into Kosovo.

Tell your sister I said hello. Take care of yourself and be safe!

Hi Alex,

I am well thank you.  It is so good to hear from you.  Yes, while it was a long time ago, it does seem like yesterday.  I have such fond memories of my time there.  In fact, my time there in Amberg and my high school years were the best in my life.  I cherish the memories.

Ho-w is your sister doing?  Christine is still in Vegas is she not?  Elsa and I have not he-ard from her in a while.  Elsa and I got divorced 3 1/2 years ago.  We are still close and still friends.  I will see her tomorrow in fact. Our divorce was nothing hateful.  We just grew apart and have very different likes and dislikes.  I just called Elsa and she said to tell you "Hello".  If you talk to Christine, please give her Elsa's cell phone number which is . 1-928-240-1832.

As you know, Elsa and I had 2 kids; a boy; Ronnie Jr. and a girl; Kristina.  Ronnie has 2 girls and Kristina has a daughter so we have 3 granddaughters!  Hard to believe.  Time goes by so fast.

I own a business and am a small investor.  I'm happy.  My son Ronnie works with me.  We live in NE Arizona up in the mountains.

Keep in touch.  So good to hear from you.

Ron

Welcome to DragoonBase Alexandra,

I hope you enjoy the site, and maybe find some of your old friends and buddy's.
