Dang Andrew - It must be like LTC Eddie Johnson says - " the most memorable staion in his career" Moya is a good man - went to his home several times , a very kind person , hope he joins the Dragoon Base . Remember John Lucas ? Was in HHT , track driver also worked in S-4 . Was a 19D . I stay in touch with him regularly and he has visited my home several times - trying to get him to join he has a TON of pictures and was an avid photo bug - Also he lives in Lansing MI in your state . Thanks for posting all the pics GOOD JOB - Wonder if they took that horrid alert siren out hehe - Later Carl

Andrew, I am the one you remember. Moya was one of my platoon mates. If he is the same one who took care of 5 Ton truck, he had an accident with it and then the recovery guys had an accident with the same truck making the truck completely demolished, then we are a match. He was also in S4 with me, too. I would love to hear from him. Great guy and friend!

Hey, yes I remember your name for sure. I started out in HHT/S4 then went to M CO and wound up back in HHT S4 the last few months of my tour. I am very anxious to get back to Amberg; maybe this summer.

Our Redeye room was in the basement across from the Arms room in HHT.Back then the only other stuff in the basement was a room where an NCO was always in drawing up the training schedule, and the CBR room where the gas masks were.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
