Tell us a little about your cav days.: Lots of good times, & lots of shitty ones too, Remember Novak's black room in 3rd plt, some good times had in downtown Bamberg , & on the Border at Hof, Laying in the snow for hours on GSR guard duty , lol

Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.: What ever happened to Novak, Kealling, Opie, Hogan, Williams, Jackson, and all the rest of the 3rd heard?

Back in 2002,I ran into Novak in this really small middle of nowhere town in South Dakota. He was doing ok. Had just bought a small piece of land and put up a modular home there.
I went out west to Montana and South Dakota for a couple of years back in 2002 to do some honest to God cowboyin', and would have never in a million years have expected to see anyone from the 2d ACR, much less someone from 3d Herd, E 2/2 ACR!
It was pretty cool to run into Novak....Winner, South Dakota is the name of the town.

Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos,links,ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
