Tell us a little about your cav days.
I was a gunner on L 27. Too many good times to go into but if you were there in the 70's you know what I mean. All I can say is that we are lucky to be alive. I stay in touch with George Vesel all the time.
Tell us a little about you now.
Married to my lovely wife Lisa, a school administrator, 3 kids, 3 grandkids and two dogs named Zig and Zag. I am an instructor at Albany Technical College in Albany, Ga. Have been for the last 20 years. I live in Leesburg, Ga. Like to boat and camp. Not the kind of camping we did in Sheridans but the kind where there are comforts like microwaves, showers and comfy beds.
Phone number (Optional).

Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
Anyone who remembers "Dog".

Dog, If the M551s could talk hmmmm... I guess its been 30 years now so its safe now. when you called last week I think was in shock. It was good to speak to you. I look back on those days and relize they are still alive in my mind, the friends that you make in those situations are forever. I often think about our boys fighting for freedom and giving all they have for you and I.It makes me proud to know that we were and still are a part of that great tradition. thanks for letting me know about this site, I never would have known. My life can be busy so I can't be on every night but will make a real effort to stay in touch.

Hey Dog. Sorry I haven't been in touch but I have been very busy at work. I am still alive. I spoke with George Vesel's wife a while back. I sure would like to see all you guys again.

2d DRAGOONS

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
