- Tell us a little about your cav days.
- Patrolling the East German and Czechoslovakian border was one of the most fascinating parts of my life. I participated on 15 Border tours, mostly at Camp Gates and a few at Camp Hof, one Border tour at Camp Pittman in Weiden. Spent a year at Squadron Border Operations as well as transitioning from a cold War to High intensity conflict of the Gulf war while in 1st Squadron. Great Unit.
- Tell us a little about you now.
- I work as a Subject Matter Expert for a U.S. Army simulation system called the “CCTT –Close Combat Tactical Trainer” in Orlando Florida. I get a chance to travel back to Germany now and then, I always drive back to see the Rock. Last time I was there, the names on the wall could still be seen.
