This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

HEY Carlos,
Great to see you on Mike Burke's page. On that photograph you had - from left to right - were "King Todd" Wood --- so named by Cliff Lowe, not in that picture --- Clyde G Francisco and Herb Parliament going out the door.
I looked through your photographs and was thrilled to see Victor Smallwood, my roommate Sergio Delgado, Crescioni, Ruiz, and Juan Rivera...
Flood of memories. Their names came back immediately. Funny how the brain works. I cannot remember my keys in the morning...
