Tell us a little about your cav days.
My time with the Regiment was the best peace time assignment I ever had. Working in Regimental Border Ops was a dream job. Every day was different. I guess I did okay, I left in 1982 with an MSM.
Tell us a little about you now.
I'm retired from the Teamsters Union, where I worked in the convention/Tradeshow industry. Due to a stroke I had 11 years ago I get around on a mobility scooter. I've lived here in Las Vegas NV for 31 years wouldn't live any where else.

Colonels of the Regiment

9th Colonel of the Regiment David R. Clendenin 29 Oct 1888 – 2 Apr 1891



This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
