Its good to hear from you too. I thought we'd never get out of Amberg. But I miss it now. I got into the movies in Albuquerque, NM. We did some movies at Santa Fe, NM. That good that your family is in the military too. I had some of my poetry published in native American publications. not much though. I hope to have a whole book one day. I am glad you liked the photo's. i sure like yours. It brings me a lot of memories of the 3/2 acr. You take care and I will talk to you real soon. see ya!

Its good to hear from you. I am glad you have a nice family. I had to think real hard to remember you. But after I seen your photo's. I said I remember this guy. You had a lot of freckles. Yes I was one of the fastest runners. A Spanish guy named Romayor tried to keep up with me. I just walk fast now. I try to jog some. I am still writing, though. Did you remember our battalion commander, his name was Lt.Col. Landry. I remember I was the best looking guy at guard duty, so I got to be around the Battalion Commander all day. I like your photo's of the Border camp. We had a nice little bar going there. I got tipsy a few times there. Your baby looks exactly like you. Keep up the good work and I will talk to some more real soon.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
