Looking for Steven D. Kramer (Cramer?)
He was at Pond Barracks from '68 - '73
His was in the Artillery troop, maybe Hawk Missiles
Any help would be much appreciated

(Ex) Amberg resident

As I grew up in and around Amberg and also spent a fair share of time at Pond Barracks I'm happy to see so many of you have fond memories about their time in Amberg.
And probably I have seen some of you in MC's, Happy Rock or the Harmony so a heartfelt 'Hello' from me to you guys.
Amberg never has been the same since the Army left.

Why I'm here:
I am looking for a soldier who was in Amberg from 1969 - 1973 or 1974.
As I learnt recently he is my father, whom I have never met.
The latest info I got was that he served in an artillery troop or the HAWK troup.

His name is Steven D. Cramer or Kramer. The D. could stand for Duane or David - I am not sure here.
He was from (Anaheim?) California.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome Chris,
Hope you enjoy the site, and find some old, and maybe some new friends here, I know there are a lot of troopers here that were in Amberg.

2d DRAGOONS

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
