Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.
Hi David,
Sport Report...I tried like hell getting my "Elke Steele" Facebook site corrected and it just isn't working out. Will take some time but I will establish a new one in my correct name and give you all a contact report once there. Please advise all on the D Co 1/2 ACR Facebook site. Stay safe and in turret defilade! Dave Gray
Great to hear from you and I'll do my best to connect with you guys on Facebook! I'm still pretty useless with social media, mobile telephone apps etc.
My last real home stateside address and where I joined the US Army from was right down the road from where you now live in PG County. Glen Dale is the Name of the town.
I'm living about 1 1/2 hours away from Bindlach in Bad Kissingen, Germany (my first duty station after AIT was with G Trp 2/11 ACR). We built our house here after I retired from active duty in 1998. It is close to my wife Sonja's folks home.
Hope you have a great weekend. I see you are in the medical field...stay safe and healthy.
Hi CPL Boyce,
Commo check from 1SG Dave Gray. I stumbled upon this site recently and am trying to get caught up with all of the D Co Dawgs or Dakotas that are here on this site. I hope you are well and would love to here how you are doing. Stay safe and healthy!

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
