This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

I was in I TRoop -- Tanker, I 37. It was a long time ago, but I remember the names of two I Troop Mechanics. Johnson and Callanan. I have a picture with them in it.
Dennis: We served together at Pond Barracks.I was with I Troop and HQ .Was injured by a faulty hatch on a M-114 and after that had to wear an eye patch.Was also C.B.R. NCO and gave a lot of classes . Wolf
