Tell us a little about your cav days.
5 months with M60A1's and 19 months with my Sheridans in G Troop. Squadron Border Officer was the best job I had in my time in the Army and that included my command of the first XM1 Tank Company at Ft Knox H Co 2/6th Cav.
Tell us a little about you now.
I became a Army civilian in 1987 and am in my 36th year of Army service with the Army at HQDA G-3/5/7 in the Pentagon. My blood will always be green and I will always value my time in the 2/2 above all professional Army jobs I have had. I miss my spurs :D It certainly is a different world now...

9th Colonel of the Regiment David R. Clendenin 29 Oct 1888 – 2 Apr 1891



This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
