Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.
Hey Ellen,
Hope you are well. My name is Chuck Barham and I was assigned to 1st HOW, worked mostly for Skip Hall. I still stay in touch with Debbie Spohn a couple of times a year. Hope you have a great 2023!
Best - Chuck
Happy Birthday Ellen. Birthdays seem to come along much much quicker than they used to. Take time to do something OUTRAGEOUS today. Its' your day. God Bless.
Happy Birthday..... Hope you have a great day...
Things would have turned out a lot different with me if there was a First Lady of C Troop when I had some problems in the last few months of my tour. I got married to my high school sweetheart on leave and she joined me in my last year. I thought I would have a career in the Army, but things changed drastically with her there. So, you did a good thing getting involved with the guys and their families. Thanks for your service.
Ellen, also wanted to add to my welcome, a thankyou to you and your husband for your srevice to this country,...

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
