Wish I had some photos to add of you in the driver's hatch of our old 577. It's good to hear from you!

Alright George, you have dibs on the sign. If you don't take it I'm making a picnic table out of it (eventually). I already have the folding legs I need, just have to varnish the sign one summer.

I'm over in the southeast corner of Tacoma (Larchmont), near Midland. Give me a holler when you're ready to come get it.

George, I can't believe you're reappeared -- and you'd spent 29 years on active duty? Wow. Congrats from your old S2 from those days. - Pete Johnson

Just gotta stop by my house with something big enough to carry it off with.

Well, it's a little big for the mailbox! It's painted on a half sheet of 3/4" plywood and quite heavy.

My youngest son moves furniture and works out at Ft Lewis quite a bit. The sign was given to him by a Major who brought it back from Iraq. Now it sits in my garage waiting for me to do something with it. I considered covering it in resin and making a picnic table out of it, but if you want it, it's yours. Been trying to give it away for a couple years. Ya just gotta come over the hump to get it.

2d DRAGOONS

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
