Welcome to Dragoon Base, Jaime.

You may have crossed paths with my dad at Ft. Ord. He was senior instructor from July 1968 to September 1969 with Co B, 2d Bn, 4th CST Bde before leaving there for Thailand. MSG Henry Gettman. You would know him if you saw him as he was only 5'0" tall, a WW II, Korean War, and Vietnam War vet.

8th Colonel of the Regiment Nelson B. Sweitzer 9 Jun 1886 – 29 Oct 1888

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
