"No big C patch or decal. I only recall the 2, half white or silver and half red. Dad was a Mustang and earned his bars the old fashioned way, in Africa in a tank."

My dad died in 1983. He earned his bars with the 99th Recon Troop between the Battle of the Bulge and the crossing of the bridge in Remagen.
