Hi jimmy,
Thanks for your note, nice to hear from you. It's been a long time. Who was your platoon leader in A Troop. That'll help me put some context on who was doing what to whom.

PT seemed to be a good rallying point for A Troop that set us apart from the others. Who enjoyed doing push-ups in the snow?!

Look forward to hearing back from you soon.

It's you guys who make the site. I'm just helping keep an eye on things so it keeps running.

Got a lot of North Carolina troopers on this site. Maybe y'all should get together and start a chapter.

Hey Jimmy, glad you decided to join us. I couldn't find any of the guys on your buddy list among our members, but the name Mike (Neck) Garrett sure rang a bell. Did some digging and found this photo in a slide show I put together several years ago. It's one of our members, William (Neck) Garrett. Ah, the years are cruel to our memories!

2d DRAGOONS

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
