Jesse,

You sure have been hard to track down. Glad to see that you still have the adventuresome spirit. Flo and I live on a farm just west of Petersburg, Virginia and we both work at the Defense Logistics Center in Richmond. If you get this please send me a comment or an e-mail to jhharpole@hotmail.com or jan.harpole@dla.mil.

Jesse,

Glad to see you on here. Didn't know which of the 2 pages you have to comment on, so I chose the one that's furthest away.

It's been a long time and many have wondered where you disappeared too. I've often looked at that beer mug you guys gave me when I left B Troop, and thought of many good times on the Rock. Am in contact with Bob Godwin and Jan Harpole, both of whom will attend the May 2010 Regimental reunion at Fort Knox. I guess it's too long a commute for you!

Drop a line here, or at bbarry8417@gmail.com, if you have a chance and let us know what's up in your life.

Jesse I left a note for you on your other page here at dragoon base. You sure get around, New Mexico and Argentina! When I saw your reference to Rodney Ward I knew you were the real deal. Ward and I roomed together for a while along with Mike Oates and Herman Jones. The last time you and I spoke I was a 20yr. old acting jack on B-17. That was in early 1974. Mike

Toujours Pret Jesse,
Welcome Sir, to the DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of updated features, lots of sub-groups,(ie, Officers Club, F-Trp., Amberg, Medics, etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos, links, ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history, and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures (pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
And that you please tell all your friends about DragoonBase.

Thanks again for joining Dragoon Base, and for your service to our great country.
