I worked underneath CW3 Jim Myers in The CEWI building. We helped prepare briefings for the then kernel Crouch, regimental commander. Additionally, being the lower enlisted person in the section, I was the driver/maintenance person for the M577 command tracked vehicle, deuce and a half, etc.
Tell us a little about you now.
I had several jobs upon leaving the Army in 1987. Some included retail, restaurant, healthcare, and now higher education. I’m currently serving at Athens State University, Athens Alabama, as professor of management in the college of business. I am also department chair of the acquisition contract management/logistics supply chain management/management department. I have been doing this for the last 16 years.
Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
I have already found several. I would like to know whatever happened to my direct report-CW3 Jim Myers. Thank you.

Colonels of the Regiment

8th Colonel of the Regiment Nelson B. Sweitzer 9 Jun 1886 – 29 Oct 1888

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
