A very exciting time.I have some good memories of my time in the Cav.This was my second tour of Germany,and I loved it.

I'm a heavy equipment operator for an above-ground limestone mine in central Alabama.

I remember Angelheart and goofy Sgt Bates.  SFC Sale was the coolest NCO as long as you weren't on his bad side.  Do you remember Schoener, Adams and Lancaster?  I've seen all three in the past year.  So, did you stay in Amberg after you got out then?  Are you still there?  I never thought I see the day when I missed that place, but I do.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
