"For anyone that did not know Doug Kennedy L Trp 3/2 ACR 3rd Platoon has died. He died about 2 years ago. Cardiac issues."

What unit(s) did you serve in with the 2d Cavalry?: L Trp 3/2 ACR 3rd platoon

Tell us a little about your cav days.: Worked with SFC Harden, Wooten, Coon, Kennedy, Jacobson, Lower, Hennerty, Adams, Hernandez, Estep, McGuire and more that I can't remember. Greatest bunch of guys I ever worked with!

Tell us a little about you now.: Work for medium size career fire depatment as a Lieutenant. Also do some non-profit work with Organ/Tissue donation.

Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.: Any of th above and anyone who remembers me that wants to get in touch.

I emailed him on AKO after he retired and he finally checked it one day and replied. He said he was working in Alabama as a Marine Police Officer patrolling one of the water eays. I emailed him back and haven't heard anything from him since...so I figure another year or so and I'll get a reply:-) DId I telly you I ran into Hank Martinelli and Danny Rivera on Facebook. Hank is retired at Fort Bliss and Rivera lives in Puerto Rico. Rivera said he had contact with Hennerty when he lived in Washington State but that was years ago and hasnt talked to him since. Anyway, Merry Christmas and I hope all is doing well. Later Mac.

It had been presented to the Mayor of Luneville by 1st Squadron in 1991, and was signed by the officers and their wives on the back. I recently sent it to Tom Molino, President of the 2nd Cavalry Association, to either donate to our museum or take back to Luneville.

I was also in the platoon. Me and Hernandez were room mates. I was under SSG Wooten until he left then I worked for SSG Adams and SGT Hennerty. Hey, do you remember where Daniels went when he ETSed?
