Dickie was the gunner but I can't remember the loader's name. After a couple of months, we got a new shake and bake 2nd luey to break-in while Hoensfel.
I was put into Beckers room on my first night at Pond. That night, a serious fight broke out between friends (juicers?) that had been drinking heavily in the Berg. One put his fist thru the wire reinforced window in the door to a crew room. Sacared me shitless, wondering what the hell I got myself into.
