This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Randy,
Still up in the air whether I will make the reunion or not. Got some expenses coming up and not sure I can afford it.
Randys
I was in the headquarters section of H CO (Blade tank and CO's tank). We used to augment G TRP 1st and 3d Paltoons when they went to patrol up at Coburg. That's how I know Ballard, Smaaland, Loy and Coakley. Coke was in H CO for awile tehn transfered to G TRP. Also remember Starlin,Blaise, Sisson, La Chance, Hurst et al. CPT Pate was a great commander until the RIF monster got him. Used togoing to Coburg with your thirdand first herd.Platoon sergent Cameron made the place a perpetual GI Party. Remember when those guys got drunk and stole two Sheridans and headed downtown to Coburg? One of them was a rehab from 3d Squadron can't remember the other two. Gettman might pick up on this one and run it to the ground. Keep in touch
Randy
Was just browsing through your Goofy Troop pictures and it brought back some memories. Freak Brothers paint scheme on the Sheridan was some of the best art work in the squadron. Jim Beam...I think that one was SFC Opsitos' or SFC Schweiger wasn't it? Pictures of Hohenfels and Graf too...man those were the days.
Yeah, Randy, it's October 2013. They have 'em every two years. Hopefully I can make this one if nothing comes up. I had it in my head until just the other day it was THIS year, even though I posted all the notices. Sometimes it does take a minute to sink in.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RANDY
