Sorry... It's been too long - when I worked in supply I knew all the names but anymore just drawing a blank - I have some pictures of our company christmas party back in 89 I believe (will post soon) Yes John Czech was a 12B not sure about the car kicking, but sounds like something he would have done. lol - I don't think he ever left the barracks without putting on a bandana!

Kings Inn - Pedro and Karen were the best and the music too... Karen's homemade soup and bread was the bomb ... Sgt Ruby and I hung out alot! I remember he always wanted to have a motorcycle hotdog stand on the beach somewhere in CA. when he got out (not sure if his wish ever came true) He got in trouble for drinking to many times and had a curfew ... I would at times sneak him out the back door of the supply room... What memories.... Cpt. Gibson what an @$$ I remember Chris Bowman and John Czech glued boots to his desk the night before Chris went State side.

You're going to have to jog my memory. It's been so long ago that I don't recall you without a picture and a last name. It seems like you were a fixture down at King's Inn. Message me back. What company were you in? Are you Richard Cook? Sorry, man, the memory needs a little help. Hope you had a good 4th!

Toujours Pret Rich,
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos, links, ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
And that you please tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.

Thanks again for joining Dragoon Base, and for your service to our great country,
Jesse Kelley

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
