"C Troop was on the border when that happened July 25, 1974, but had been replaced at the camps so we could take part in the exercise where that happened."

"Thanks for the information on SSG Crump! I haven't seen him since Dec 1975. And we likely did cross paths. I remember seeing the trucks hauling the remains of the M551 back to the Rock in '74."

"I hear from George Crump all the time. Met him in Vilseck, Germany 2008 (both of us on the right, George in the back). I was in C Trp 1974-75, so we probably crossed paths on the Rock."
