Had dinner with an old friend the other day. Dick Teters, he was my first commanding officer when I arrived at the the Rock in 1976.
It was good to renew old acquaintances and talk about the past and when we went when we left the Rock.
Would like to hear from others who were in C trp anywhere during 1976 thru 1979.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Hey Robert. I don't think I posted on your page before.I was in C Troop, 1st plt 75-78. SSgt Webb was my TC. SFC. Skipper was the Plt. Sergeant.2nd Lt. Becker is the only Plt. leader I remember. There are a few C Troopers around from our time. Carl Jones and Cary Ley, both track mates of mine joined up but the aren't active. "Butch" Cassady is here some times. Great to have friend from our time.
Were they still talking about the C-15 explosion in July 1974 when you got there?

Welcome to Dragoon Base.
I just missed you at the Rock. I was there Jan 74 to Feb 75. Spent most of that time at Camp Pitman.
