This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Hello, Ron,
Glad to hear from you. I'm just fine and hope you and yours are, too.

You are absolutely correct, I am glad I had the opportunity to be on your team. If ever there is a Boeselager reunion one day you can count me in. Maybe you could kill three birds with one stone if you time it right! take care. Robert
LT Harper, you might remember me from your Boeselager team. I know we didn't get to talk much then with you out flying in choppers and doing "officer stuff" but just wanted to tell you I remember you after all the years. That was a great time for me and I got to do a lot of stuff I never would have had a chance to do elsewhere. Hope everything is as good for you as it is for me. Robert
Hi Ron. Just wanted to touch base and see how things are going. I've moved. Currently stationed in San Antonio working for the Installation Management Command. Nice place but still have some very found memories of Amberg and L troop. You take care and all my best to you and yours.
LT.,
Glad to hear that you are well and congrats on new job!!! I hope you didn't mind me putting your old pic up on here. Waiting to retire from law enforcement and looking forward to an upcoming cruise this month. Glad to hear from you. I just noticed the 2nd CAV is having a reunion in Gettysburg in 2013. Hope you had a great Christmas and you have a great 2012, too!!
LT, I forgot you started out in L Troop. You should join us in the new L Troop group I created. The current L Troop Commander, Matt Perdue, worked for me as an E-4 while at Polk. Go to Vilseck, and he'll buy the beer!!
Hey LT,
how are things? Been on this site for about a year now and some of the old Boeselager guys are starting to pop up - great to see since I've had practically no contact with the team. I have many great memories of those times.
After getting my engineering degree in the states I ended up back in Germany - designing telecommunications equipment for military and aerospace customers. Been here the last 20 years!
Things are good with us and hope you can say the same.
Let's keep in touch and try to expand the 2ACR Boeselager network.
