Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.
This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Hi Speed, hope all is well. I just read THE GULF WAR and was delightfully suprised to see Col. Tony Issacs name as one of the interviewed for the book. Also was pleased to see that he commanded the 1st Squad. in the conlict. Never know when you will discover things about those in your past.Great guy. Take care. Jeff
Speed,
Exchanged emails with Cal Hosmer. The Govers visited with them last summer so it was great that you'd tickled my memory bank about Don as well. They live in Fort Worth. Cal said to give you his best.

Hello Capt. Thomas,I was in 1st. platoon 1973. Oh yes I remember the PT campaign, walking down the hills while running up the hills in the snow but it was good for us I guess ha ha. I really enjoyed my tour & being part of the 2nd. Cav. from the Rock. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. God be with you & Your Family. Spec.4 James Adcock. Scouts Out & Always Ready.
Welcome to Dragoon Base neighbor! I don't know about you but I'm kinda missing those nice summer days we had around the Rock as compared to what we're coming into here in central florida! regards, Greg Miller, C troop mechanic
I received this one, but apparently not the one you sent earlier.
I've bumped into John Moncure on here, but am not really aware of what he's been up to.
Maybe the best way to connect initially is by email. Mine is bbarry8417@gmail.com what's yours?
