Steve, I often wondered where you went after Pond closed down. Glad to see you're doing well.
Steve, Ran into Max Tritt at my grandkids soccer game in June and he told me about this site. Checked it out and found quite a few people I served with in M Co. Started out in HHT and got transferred to M Co after about 9 months, I think. Worked in maintenance and had a secondary in PLL. Spent a couple of training stints in Vilseck for Recovery Operations and Tank Turret Maintenance on the M60's. I didn't go through the training on the M1's as I knew I was going to ETS in Dec of 84. Spent the last six months as Capt Burcham's driver. Got some pretty good photo's of the M1's though. I've got to get them put onto a disc. Once I do, I will get them posted. Phil Benson told me about the M Co facebook page but I don't do face book. I do have email though, (ramartin1957@yahoo.com). I can only get to this site once or twice a week but I do have an I Phone to get email. Look forward to hearing from you. Rick (Sgt. Marty) Martin.
COL Krawzyk is in the area
Will be in Nuremberg 11-10-2012, doing a river cruise along the Rhine and Danube.
Hope all is well.....
Steve,
You look great and glad to see your doing fine. Linda is not doing good, she has about 2 weeks left, I mentioned you though, she will pass with great memories of the fun we had in Amberg. I might be fielding MRAP's in Hohenfels this summer. I'll look you up and we can get a cold one.
John
Oh yeah. and Whalley!
Ski!
Great to see ya. Great lookin' family there. I envy you still being in Deutschland. I haven't been there since 1995. Scary to think it's 23 years since we saw each other. Maybe we can share a Weizen again someday! You, me, Gary White. And Swoop. Yeah, that's it. Let's invite Swoop! All the best, my friend! Dave

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
