Hi Steven. Thanks for the prompt reply and it really is great to hear from you. I'm glad that you and your family have been so successful. No suprise...You were an excellent mechanic and a superb NCO. It was an honor serving together with you. I was so proud of D COs maintenance posture during Operations Desert Shield and Storm. No one could have performed better. Only lost one "pack" and that just before arriving at KKMC to redeploy to Germany. FYI Larry Olson is still kicking. He lives in Benk and was running the Grafenwöhr Auto Crafts Shop on base last time I saw him in 2019. No Change there he is still turning wrenches. I found him somewhere on the Bindlach postings here.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
