Tom - Hooah! I have email addresses for Mike Lyle, who lives outside San Antonio, and Duane Hardesty, who lives in Steilacoom, WA and may have one for Dan Baughman.

Hey LT, I remember you! How have you been? I think my wife worked with your wife for a while. Her name was Kathy right? Those were the good ole days weren't they? We were soldiers once....and young.

Always Ready, sir!

Welcome to Dragoon Base. May I extend an invitation to join the Dragoon Base Officer's Club, one of many groups we have here?

I sent Tom Stewart's e-mail address to your private box. He recently stepped down from the 2nd Cavalry Association Board of Governors, and retired as our Thoroughbred newsletter editor and publisher. He also took care of the Association's Sutler's Store for quite some time.

Pete Schoomaker was my CO in C Troop, 1974. I don't have his contact information, but President Bush brought him ought of retirement to be Army Chief of Staff.

Can't help you with the rest sir.

Toujours Pret Sir,
Welcome Thomas to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos, links, ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or myself, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
And that you please tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.

Thanks again for joining Dragoon Base, and for your service to our great country,
Jesse Kelley

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
