Welcome to Dragoon Base, Ward. I'm just south of you in Washington.

Always good to see another C Trooper on here, especially one from such a historic era. My dad was in HHC at Christensen Barracks 1953-55 and I was in C Troop 1974-75.

I've got complete 2d Cavalry yearbooks from 1961-64 posted on the 2d Cavalry Association's photo archives. The photos can be greatly enlarged for ease of reading/viewing simply by clicking on the picture, then when enlarged, click on it again.Maybe you can pick yourself out of the C Troop photos.

Welcome to the Base Ward. Good to have another C Trooper. I was also in 1st Platoon back in ' 75-78. You will want to check out all the "Groups".

8th Colonel of the Regiment Nelson B. Sweitzer 9 Jun 1886 – 29 Oct 1888



This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
