"I was in I Troop 1966 to 1968. I was a third platoon tanker. I was the I-37 driver and then as a gunner. I went down Range 42 twice -- as a driver then as a gunner. Both times in the dead of winter. I did border tours at Gates, Pitman, Rotz and Hof.…"

On the border I was at camp gates and camp pitman. I was at Graffenwohr and Hoenfels. Went down range 42 as a driver one winter and as a gunner my second winter. My tank was 37.
Went to Nam in 68.

70 years old, Live in N. California, Retired Respiratory Therapist. College teacher.

Hi Bill,welcome.I was in I Troop in 1965/66 and HQ 1966/68.When I was Sq.CBR NCO I used to put you all through the tear gas chamber tent, and give classes in the auditorium/theater.Since I wore an eye patch due to injuries my closing statement at the end of my class was " I will always keep an eye out for you all." Do you remember that?
