Brian great pics ,would and is on bucket list to go visit these historic and Hallowed places one day myself hopefully with my son, am hopin to make it to the 2nd Cav reunion in Gettysburg this Oct. and thought wouldn't be too much further to these places.hopin time will see.. I'm sure you enjoyed bein there... these places hold a special place in my heart of our countries history..... I too was in HHT at Pond,,,was in squadron maint , were on 2nd floor   I was there in 72 and 73.. good to have you on the base  "Toujours Pret " brother  " once cav always cav"   take care

Brian,I did not have KP to much.The 1ST.SGT.must of liked me.I was there 69-71.I remember the sayings -KP'S outside, to unload the truck of supplies from Vilseck.Also do you remember the little room in the basement?The machine that some how peeled the potatoes.It was like a tub that had course sandpaper in it.And at night the farmer coming to the side door to pick up the food waste to feed the animals,they ate good back then.
