ahhh!. just to many things to write about. i'll just say it was a very rewarding experience. had a great circle of friends back then and still do today. because about 95% of us were draftees,we all took basic together as a bn,went to germany and all came back together. as a result we still have an annual c co reunion.
i truly loved border duty at hoff and kronach and especialy voulunteer duty on bird wing.
Tell us a little about you now.
retired from dupont. originally from nj and now living in florida. not as good as i used to be but i can still put away a few beers! i used my gi bill to get my commercial pilots license with single, multiengine and instrument ratings and then my certified instructers licence for single and multiengine land aircraft. i instructed for about five years part time at the same flight school where i took all my training. folded my wings in 2000
