This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Well I'll be damned...Good ol Crazy Johnson. Great to hear from you. The summer down here in S.C. is hot. Too hot but it beats where I was born and raised in Elmira, NY. You're only the 2nd person that I remember so far and actually have spoken to. I always keep in touch with Mike Ward but that's usually only Facebook chatter. I think something happened to me over there that effected my mental health. I can't remember squat. For real; I can only remember going to the motor pool maybe once and I'm pretty sure that was a daily thing. Just a bummer, but hey, at least I remember you. Weird thing is I always thought you were from Enumclaw. Oh well, the head ain't on that well anymore. Well Brother, it was great hearing from ya. Hit me up again if'n ya want to. I'm also on Facebook...Ric Perry, Clemson, SC....I'll holler at cha again soon.
... do you remember almost running over the sewer worker on the way to OP one morning ... I was TC'ing the 113 and you were the DRIVER!! ... https://www.facebook.com/dana.currie.3
Hey Robin, yeah thats my MAN CAVE w/my ammo box table in the middile of the room. Debra(my wife) & I, live in a three bedroom house & have no children, so I get the room & make it my MAN CAVE. Those were the first ammo boxes I had ever seen that had held rocket.explosives. Some friends of ours moved here in Jackson to anothere house, the people lived there before left these ammo boxes lining the wall of a room off the carport. Our friends were giving them away. I have some on the wall in our garage f/shelves, but I needed/wanted a table in MY CAVE.The ammo boxes originaly come from a Barouche Box Company in Alexandria Virginia.
Robin, go to my page, among other pictures see the table I built.
That was in regards to Howard W. Degen
Dyson, how strange people can act, he was a real lose cannon. I have posted several messages & even one that would lead to an apollogy f/what happened at Hohenfels(TentCity), my redneck was showing, but I haven't seen or heard a word from him. I tried calling but he won't answer. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Its good to see your words coming in Robin. Do you have any late pictures of yourself? How well of a Trooper did Dyson do after I left, July-'74? Has anybody communicated w/ Howard Degen?
