Quick Question (Bayruth)

My nephew just got to Germany yesterday he is in the Air Force. Its been a while but does anyone know how far from Ramstein Air base is from Bayruth ?
He will be there for a few months I'll try to get him to take a ride to Bayruth and take a few pics and visit if he can

Greetings from the Rock

We are in Germany right now. We have already been on the Rock in Bindlach and are staying with CW3-Ret Byron Dickmann who has a house just outside of Bad Berneck.

It's humid and a little cool today, but everything is green and lush. I did not recognize the Rock anymore. The building where I worked, (Family Housing) is now a curtain store.

The long buildings which were family quarters,have balconies now! The Dispensary is completely gone.

A Little Bit of Germany in Las Vegas - The Hofbrauhaus

Have you ever been to The Hofbrauhaus in Munich? (Maybe you were there during Oktoberfest and just don't remember). Hollywood and Cold War Movies

Of course we are all familiar with movies like "The Manchurian Candidate," "Dr. Strange Love," and the "Green Berets." This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
