The Twilight Zone and The Cav

Did you know that Rod Serling served as a paratrooper in World War Two? The writer and producer of the vintage TV series saw some action with the 11th Aiborne Corp in the Pacific. The "Lost Motor Pool" of Amberg

There has been a great response to this topic on the Amberg Group page. Those of you unfamiliar with the story; there is some speculation about hidden tunnels and an underground motor pool left over by the German Army after World War Two. Many Troopers have added their knowledge about the plausibility of this story or chimed in on how unlikely it could be. Colonels of the Regiment

9th Colonel of the Regiment David R. Clendenin 29 Oct 1888 – 2 Apr 1891



This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
